Tokyo has an exciting food scene with a culinary experience that's both traditional and innovative their most well known dish would be ramen, a nice savory broth with hand pulled noodle and veggies.When visiting, you'll find that the ingredients vary based on region such as Hokkaido is known for their miso ramen while Osaka is known for their creatie and modern ramen styles. Another staple that can be enjoyed anywhere in the world is sushi. Different types of fresh fish paired perfectly with rice, seaweed,ginger and so much more. It is a dish that is light yet refreshing.

Outside of the dishes that Japan is popular for, I want to try the lesser known street foods such as dorayaki.Dorayaki is a traditioanl japanese conffection that consist of two fluffy pancakes-like patties filled with a sweetred bean paste called anko. It is a popular treat that is beloved by all ages and is often asociated with Doraemon which is a popular manga character. Another dish to check out is Okonomiyaki, which has similiarities to dorayaki.It is a savory pancake made from a batter of flour, eggs, and shredded cabage. It is usually mixed with different ingredients such as seafood, meat, and veggies. The ingredients can vary depending on the region you're in.
